How to become a steamfitter-pipefitter in British Columbia

Certification
Compulsory since December 1, 2022, one of the first trades in B.C.’s Skilled Trades Certification: to do the work you must be certified or a registered apprentice.

Red Seal endorsement available.
Apprenticeship term
6,300 hours of work-based training and 30 weeks of technical training over 4 levels (7, 7, 8 and 8 weeks), in the harmonized program since April 2019.
