Responsibilities

Reporting to the Mine Supervisor, you will be part of the Mine Operations Department. A Miner 4 is an entry level role to Mining and may work in varied areas of Mine Haulage (Production or Services). You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Haulage & Rock Breaker Operations;
Perform work safely to meet productivity expectations and schedules;
Housekeeping - keep work areas clean and free from hazards;
Communication - from and with others, recording accurate records on 5-point (Zero Hazard) card, aligning with daily tasks assigned;
Teamwork - complete set tasks and actively assist others to complete their tasks.

Schedule and conditions

Rotation: 7/7 (days on/off)

Qualifications and requirements

Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Miner 4 or equivalent;
Ability to work both independently and as a team;
Comfortable in all types of working conditions including confined spaces, low light, heights, hot, cold, and humid temperatures;
Demonstrates safety awareness;
Physically Fit, self-starter with a can-do attitude;
Tolerance for hot, cold and humid environments;
UG Comon Core (Ontario).
Your Work Schedule:
Schedule: 7 days of work, followed by 7 days off at our Upper Beaver Gold Project in Dobie, ON.
