How it’s calculated, and sources
We lay your rotation over 52 calendar weeks starting on a Monday and count overtime week by week. “The law’s minimum” uses the province’s employment standards for most employees. Many rotation jobs run under an averaging agreement or a collective agreement that counts overtime differently: use “My agreement’s rule” or “Averaged” to match yours.
Tax is the 2026 annual estimate for a single employment income (federal and provincial tax, CPP/QPP, EI, QPIP). Vacation pay, travel days, northern deductions and union dues aren’t included.
